Camp X-Ray Stewart told reporters at the recent premiere of the new movie, held at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, that her character, Amy, is “really relatable” and that “Camp X-Ray” is “not a hugely opinionated movie.” (Check out videos of her interview at the Sundance Film Festival, above)
“When you have really steadfast ideas of what is right and what is wrong, and then you involve people from very different backgrounds and differences of opinions, there’s something there that never goes away, that you’re both human and … even though you may be in a position where you’re like pitted against each other, you still love each other,” Stewart told OTRC.com.
“Human beings love each other. That’s just the way that it is and so that’s what the movie’s about,” she said. “In this gray area, there’s one constant and people shouldn’t forget that.”
