While Kristen was touring the world promoting Eclipse, Rob was unable to travel with Kristen and Taylor because he was filming Water for Elephants. I’m sure Kristen missed Rob, but at the Sydney, Australia premiere and fan event, she looked totally relaxed in this Jenni Kayne mini skirt, Market deep-scoopneck t-shirt, and Sergio Rossi ankle booties.
This outfit individually is so simple to mimic. Simply put, all you need is a bright yellow mini skirt (possibly with a black elastic band at the top), a deep gray tee, and a pair of ankle boots!
The bright yellow skirt is from Windsor and is less than $10! It’s stretchy, it’s comfy, and it’s perfect for a pop of color! Kristen’s skirt actually has a bit of dimension in the back, so if you want to go even further with this look, find a skirt that isn’t quite so flat. Great places to start for any of these items, by the way, are at my go-to stores, Forever 21, H&M, and Zara. They are easy to find and cheap, always. Although the t-shirt I picked out is a bit pricey for a plain tee, the idea is to find one just like it – deep gray (you could go lighter, but the darker color makes it look a bit cleaner) and with a low cut.
Add a long, silver necklace with a pendant or object at the end to the equation and you have something similar to Kristen’s signature infinity necklace. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but the idea is to get the long chain. Then if you want, you can put on some fun rings and bracelets (LOVE the Marc Jacobs bracelet – put it in there just for kicks ) On her left hand, Kristen is wearing a Seiko watch, but this American Apparel watch is only $40!
Make the look even more sexy by pairing it with some solid black booties! The BCBG booties can be found at DSW for $85! Kristen has been seen wearing these a lot, so a black ankle boot would work with a lot that she wears.
Would you wear such a bold colored skirt? I think it’s great for spring and summer coming up!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Mum may still be the word on this on-screen couple’s real-life relationship, but their ability to wow on the red carpet is undeniable. Stewart sticks to slinky gowns (at left, in Roberto Cavalli), while Pattison maintains his It-Brit Boy image in shiny black and maroon suits.
