We got a chance to chat with the turtleneck-loving star backstage about his own sense of fashion and which of his Breaking Dawn costars he thinks has the best sense of style.
So which fashion-forward Twilight hunk gets Emmett Cullen’s seal of approval?
“Out of our cast, Jackson probably has the best male style,” Kellan said of the Singapore native, who plays Jasper Cullen in the films. “He rocks those cowboy boots like no other.”
But don’t worry, Team Edward and Team Jacob: Kellan thinks Taylor Lautner has “great style,” and Robert Pattinson? “He has his own thrown-together-but-looks-amazing style.”
Kellan Lutz joined Kyle and Jackie O this morning to dish on Breaking Dawn Part II, chicks using him to get to Robert Pattinson and how Aussie sweetheart Sharni Vinson ‘tickles his fancy’.
The buff vampire said we have to wait until mid November to see part two of the fourth and final Twilight movie, confessing he hasn’t even seen it yet!
Lutz waited until the premiere to see Breaking Dawn Part I saying “to experience something like that with the fans, it’s another world”.
When asked who he gets asked about the most out of the actors he has worked with, he answered quickly “Rob!”
“[Girls] always ask if I have [Rob's] number, and if I’ll give it to them. Bless their hearts for trying…”
“Every time I see them, they’re madly in love. Hope the best for them, that’s for sure.”

Speaking to The Advocate – a LBGT-interest magazine – Kellan Lutz discusses some questions about Breaking Dawn – Part 1and its openly gay director Bill Condon.
Lutz (who plays Emmett in the Twilight films) talked primarily about topics that would be of particular interest to Advocate readers.
Below is the extent of the Twilight talk:
Q: Director Bill Condon brought his wonderful gay sensibility to films like Dreamgirls, Kinsey, and Gods and Monsters. Taking over the Twilight saga for its final installments, has he brought a gay sensibility or gay undertones to Breaking Dawn?
A: Oh, definitely. I mean, there’s a lot more skin, first of all. It’s for a more mature audience. Our audience has grown up with us, and we have to grow along with them. The original high school fans are in college now, and they want to see more skin. Bill has Taylor Lautner topless all the time, so there’s some great eye-candy. Bill did such an amazing job, and it was so much fun to work with him.
Q: But would it have killed him to sneak in a gay vampire or a gay werewolf?
A: We have so many cast members in the movie, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the characters was gay and I just didn’t know it. I’d be all for it.
In this interview, Kellan Lutz mentions how proud he is of Rob “for working out and training really hard.” He even goes into a little detail about what advice he gave Rob. Well from the look of the honeymoon scene in the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 trailer, I’d say the working out definitely paid off!!
In the “Breaking Dawn” trailer we see Edward Cullen take his new bride Bella on their honeymoon retreat, and it’s there that we get a short glimpse of his bulging back when he BREAKS THE HEADBOARD in a fit of passion.
After seeing the scene, however, some wondered if Rob actually used a body double. Well, we caught up with his “Twilight” co-star Kellan Lutz, who blessedly assured us that it was all Rob.
“Someone asked if that was me. Is that Kellan’s back?” the 26-year-old actor said, laughing at the idea. “I’m really proud of Rob for working out and really training really hard. He cycled so hard and trained very hard, and he’s really diligent. He talked to me about what proteins to drink and what to do and he listened and cared. He had a great mentality for it.”
