Great interview with Kristen, starting at 9:00 minutes. She talks passionately about not changing anything from the book, obsessive instincts about playing a mother, and what it’s like to look back at the first movie. Plus, what she remembers Catherine Hardwicke saying from the first movie and what’s most exciting while being on the set with everyone.

Michael Shannon played Kim Fowley in The Runaways alongside Kristen and mentions how she set up a meeting with him and original The Runaways manager Kim Fowley.
For The Runaways was it beneficial Kim is still around?
Yeah. The first day of shooting that I was involved with, Kristen Stewart said, “If you want to sit down with Kim Fowley then I can arrange it.” I said, “That would be great.” So Kristen and Joan Jett and myself and Kim Fowley met at a Denny’s in The Valley. We had dinner together. And Kim brought his albums…not his vinyl albums, but his photo albums and his newspaper clippings and all this stuff and he told, basically, his life story to me from the time he was a child to where he was at sitting across from me at that table. Yeah, it was incredible. It’s kind of a blur. I can’t say I remember a lot about it. He was talking very fast. I know he was sick as a child. But his parents were all right.

Kristen’s position as the face of Balenciaga and the fashion house’s fragrance, Florabotanica, was questioned after the release of her interview with German magazine 032c, where she spoke about Nicolas Ghesquière’s departure. However, NYmag.com is claiming a source confirmed her involvement is still with Balenciaga. Additionally, it is rumored that she has already shot new fragrance campaigns for the fall.
But an inside source confirmed to us that her contract with Balenciaga is actually alive and well. She has already shot several new fragrance campaigns, the first of which will come out this fall.

A German magazine, 032c, dedicates its Summer 2013 issue to Balenciaga’s former designer, Nicolas Ghesquière. The magazine features a few quotes from Kristen talking about the designer and that she noticed a change in him after his final Spring show for the fashion house.
He is a reminder of how fucking annoying everyone else is. It’s not easy to walk a line that not every single person in the world is going to get in a second. Nicolas is the sort of person who loves swimming in rough water …
I’ve felt the happiest I’ve ever felt wearing these clothes. I’ve also felt androgynous and rigid. Sort of like you’re wearing a fucking building.
Kristen comments about when Nicolas told her that he was leaving Balenciaga:
I was like, ‘Dude, are you okay?’ and he was like (in a French accent), ‘Yes. Yes. I will tell you soon, but there are things happening.’ Before I left, he was like, ‘All right, I’ll tell you.’ I’m so fucking proud of him because what he was about to do would rock people’s worlds. He was just like, ‘Believe for me.’ I thought it was the coolest fucking thing.
The look on his face after that show, he had this look like he was actually the kid who was being told he wasn’t allowed to do something. And he was totally not going to stand for it, and I was like, ‘I will totally run away with you.’
Although we are only four months into 2013 and Kristen hasn’t really been photographed besides her Oscar appearance, Kristen has made Glamour Magazine’s Best Dressed Women of 2013 List. This is the second year in a row that Kristen has nabbed this title, and we couldn’t agree more
And she does it again. Go-to gown? Not this girl. Red-carpet dressing means everything from leather trews to shorts and all-in-one lace jumpsuits for the ever-cool K-Stew. Whether in Zuhair Murad or Balenciaga, every looks comes complete with a nod to her personal rock-chick style. What a year!
