First look of Life in Entertainment Weekly Magazine. (the issue with the Maleficent cover)
The director Anton Corbijn talks about Rob and Dane:
“When I see Rob I see an inner turmoil that is great for the role. And Dane is really interesting. He has a beautiful face, but it’s a hard face to grasp. It’s hard to see how Dane reads [on screen] sometimes, and the same goes for James Dean.”
They look great together, right? We can’t wait for the movie to come out!
Video from local news site, CHEXPeterborough:
Looks like according to @TheFilmStage, we have a JULY 18th release date for Rob’s The Rover. Not sure if this is new or old news (I’ve been behind lately!)
— The Film Stage (@TheFilmStage) February 28, 2014

We posted the teaser trailer here + tons of screencaps!
Rob donated an autographed runner singlet to support Marysol Running on behalf of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. The online action will take place from April 1st to 10th. The event will be tomorrow, but we don’t know if they auction the siglet then, or on the online auction.
Info about the auction:
Welcome to my fundraise auction on behalf of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. I’ll be running this year London’s marathon and I have a fundraise target of £4,000 pounds.
I would specially like to thank actors Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson, who have jointly donated 3 items that will be auctioned for this great cause! Sienna Miller: autographed Burberry handbag and Diane von Furstenberg robe. Robert Pattison: autographed runner singlet. All the items that you will find here are original and were donated by the artists themselves. Also all the items are new, unless otherwise stated.
The online auction will take place on Ebay from 1st through 10th April, so please stay tuned as the link will be posted here as the date approaches. In the meantime, please show your love (and generosity) to this great cause through your donations! Why I run
My aim is to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer Research, as my husband was stricken with Prostate Cancer in 2010. After surgery, chemo and radio therapy, he has been told he is now in remission.
When this happened to my husband, we were obviously devastated, as we have 3 children, now aged 15, 18 and 27, but we now have a future that is looking better as time goes by.
I discovered that Prostate Cancer is one of the most serious forms of cancer in men, as it often goes undiagnosed, often until it is too late. Also since my husband’s diagnoses, he has been very forthright in talking about it to his friends and colleagues, and telling them that it is important that they get regularly checked by their GP. We have also been reminded of this as other friends have been recently diagnosed, and although each person is different, we hope that it was perhaps the experiences of my husband that prompted these friends to be checked.
The more I have learned, then the more I wish to help in raising money and more importantly, awareness of the problems of prostate cancer, and as I lead a very hectic life, I still ensure I work out and keep fit at my Local YMCA in central London on a daily basis.
I have been involved in running 5k and 10k races, particularly for Breast Cancer, for many years, and this was also brought home to me as I myself had a scare approximately 2 years ago with a lump in my breast, luckily benign, and I now want to stretch myself to the next level. So in the next few months,I’ll take part in other races. I will keep you posted about that!
I sincerely wait in great anticipation of I hope a positive outcome to this personal effort.

Few male fragrances have managed to capture female attention quite like Dior Homme Eau for Men. Perhaps that’s because the scent—classically masculine according to perfume tradition—gives a couple nods to the ladies with notes like grapefruit and iris.
Or, perhaps more realistically, it has to do with its spokesman: The painfully handsome Mr. Robert Pattinson.
“The idea of revisiting a classic fragrance was very attractive,” says the star, who imagines the scent’s wearer to be “a free spirit who does whatever he wants, and is fearless about it.” Indeed, the fragrance’s film campaign, directed by Romain Gavras, depicts just that: Viewers can watch as he races a vintage car along the beach, runs on rooftops, kisses (Twilight style!) in an elevator, and more. These various scenes embody a guy who’s a lot less Edward Cullen…and a lot more James Dean.
For R.Patz, it’s fitting that the fragrance he’s fronting is all about rebellion. “When I was 12, I remember being on holiday in Portugal and watching teenagers going into bars,” he says. “I believed that splashing cologne would convince everyone I was an adult. I thought wearing perfume was the cool thing to do.” Reluctantly, he adds, “That…and hair gel.”
But, Rob acknowledges, it’s totally possible that the dude who wears this scent may be slightly outdone—by the ladies. In fact, he seems undeterred by the female fanbase the fragrance has garnered. “She’s a girl of her own mind,” he imagines, “refusing to smell ‘pretty’ or do what’s expected of her. And clearly someone who isn’t confused about her idea of femininity.”
Luckily, this free-spirited lady is a familiar figure in the actor’s life. “My mum’s quite a dominant personality,” he explains, “so I’ve always been very comfortable around girls.”
Somehow, we think the feeling might be mutual.

Check out this account of Rob and Dane DeHaan filming Life today in Toronto .. I especially love the part about Rob eating a Subway sandwich hahaha!
Filming took place today in the Downtown Core at a Building ridden with Bedbug problems in the past, with both external and internal shoots taking place for much of the afternoon. As a torrential downpour of sloshy wet snow handicapped the City midday, the Shoot moved indoors where a Movie Premiere scene within the Film had commenced.
Appearing in the Scene is Academy Award Winner Sir Ben Kingsley, who was reported as having flown into the City for the Film earlier this week, cast as Canadian-born Studio Executive Jack Warner. Spending much of his day in his Trailer, the mustached Thespian was guided along with a Handler under an umbrella, dressed warmly in a green Canada Goose Parka. ”I’m afraid you will take my Photo and show it to your Friends on the Internet!”, said Kingsley when asked by Fans to pose for a Group Photo. Despite declining to pose for a Photo, upon returning for a Touch-Up later in the day, he threw a quick wave to Fans.
Meanwhile DeHaan, who plays Dean in the ’50s-set LIFE, was enjoying the Olympics in his Trailer. He had an earlier wrap, seen heading home in a Plaid Jacket, Toque and Glasses.
The Film’s Star, Pattinson, was spotted smoking a cigarette in a hidden area of the Building he was filming at in the afternoon, later retiring to his Trailer for a six-hour-long break which saw him lunching on a Subway Sandwich, craving a large bag of Potato Chips in the evening brought to him by his Assistant. The handsome 27-year-old British Actor who plays the Lead Role of Stock, donned a Canada Goose Parka and was seen exiting quietly, his hood concealing his face. His Private Bodyguard Dean aided him along to his vehicle, narrowly avoiding a serious fall on the extremely slippery footing. Fortunately he made it unscathed and fall-free to a late night of filming!
